PADI Instructor Development Course

The Instructor Development Course for certified Divemasters, taught by Will Welbourn, a PADI Platinum Course Director who has certified more than 500 instructors and has been teaching on Roatan since 2003. The Instructor Examination is held on the island, so you qualify where you trained.

Cohorts are capped at six candidates.

What you pay

Go Pro Caribbean fee: $2,250

Paid direct to PADI: $1,212 required, plus $192 if you apply for the Nitrox and Oxygen Provider ratings.

Requirements

• PADI Divemaster or equivalent from a recognised agency

• Open Water certification held for at least six months

• 100 logged dives before the Instructor Examination

• Medical clearance within 12 months; CPR and First Aid current within 24 months
