Join us 2 weeks before your IDC start date and join our divemaster training program to refresh your skills and acclimitise. Expect to log approx 20 dives. This is in addition to everything in the standard IDC package, with four weeks of on-site accommodation included. Arrive in Roatan and spend time polishing your skills and getting to know your classmates before focusing entirely on becoming an instructor — no flat-hunting, no commute, no distractions. The accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the dive centre, with a pool, WiFi, free drinking water, and a washing machine.
For most candidates, combining accommodation with the IDC produces better exam results. You are on-site, surrounded by other people doing the same thing, with no logistical friction between you and your training.
