Training to PADI Scuba instructor level including IDC, Divemaster Internship and all courses needed for someone with no prior dive experience.
The full journey. No diving experience to certified PADI Instructor — every step of the pathway in one programme. Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and the IDC, all in Roatan. The Instructor Exam is held on the island; you qualify where you trained.
This is a significant undertaking and an unusual one to attempt in a single location. Most people who take this route spend the better part of a year becoming an instructor, moving between different centres and countries as they progress. At Go Pro Caribbean the entire pathway is available in one place, taught by the same Course Director from start to finish.
Your Open Water certification must be held for a minimum of six months before you can begin the IDC. We recommend obtaining your Open Water as early as possible, then returning to Roatan at least three months later to complete the remaining pathway. Most candidates complete the full journey in two trips within the 90-day tourist visa available on arrival.
