Use Dive Planning Mode. After selecting the mode and answering No to first dive, the device asks whether you have the pressure group after the surface interval. If the question gives you the starting pressure group directly, answer Yes and enter it. The device then asks for depth and returns the ANDL.

How do you use the eRDPml to find the minimum surface interval between two dives?

Use Surface Interval Mode. Enter the depth and planned time of dive 1, or the ending pressure group from dive 1 if the question gives it directly. Then enter the depth and planned time of dive 2. The device calculates and displays the minimum surface interval.

How do you plan a dive in cold water using the eRDPml?

Add 10 ft (4 m) to the actual dive depth and use that adjusted depth when entering values into the eRDPml. For example, a 60 ft dive in cold water is planned as if it were a 70 ft dive, which gives a shorter no-decompression limit.

How do you find the maximum depth for a repetitive dive using the eRDPml?
