How do I find the right package for my current certification level?

Does the package price include PADI materials and application fees?

For Divemaster packages: yes, all training, materials, and the PADI Divemaster application fee are included in the listed price. For IDC (Instructor) packages: the listed price covers Go Pro Caribbean training fees and all IDC study materials. PADI fees for the Instructor Exam, EFR Instructor application, and specialty applications are paid separately to PADI — these are listed in the cost breakdown for each package.

Do I need to pay in advance to reserve my place?

Advance course payment is not required to reserve your training dates. Contact Will to confirm availability before submitting a booking. If you wish to reserve on-site accommodation, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your room.

What certification do I need to enrol in the PADI IDC?

You must hold PADI Divemaster certification (or equivalent), have logged at least 100 dives, and have held an entry-level certification for a minimum of six months. A current CPR/First Aid qualification and medical clearance are also required. Full details are listed on the instructor prerequisites page.

Is on-site accommodation available?

On-site accommodation at Go Pro Caribbean is available exclusively to Divemaster and IDC candidates. Private rooms start from $5 per night (fan, with private bathroom); air conditioning is an additional $10 per night. Use the calculator to add accommodation to your quote. Minimum stay is one month. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a room.

How long will I need to be in Roatan?

For Rescue Diver to Divemaster: 6 weeks minimum. For Open Water to Divemaster: 6–8 weeks. For Divemaster to Instructor: 2–3 weeks minimum (including IDC and Exam). For Open Water to Instructor: 8–10 weeks minimum. Honduras grants a 90-day tourist visa on arrival; extensions are available for longer programmes.
